Mit den neuen EasyCut B 870 und EasyCut B 1000 erweitert KRONE sein Produktprogramm bei Butterfly-Kombinationen um zwei weitere Modelle. Im Vergleich zu den bisherigen Butterfly-Kombinationen ohne Aufbereiter bestechen die neuen Typen durch das moderne, abgerundete Design mit gespannten Schutztüchern und durch eine Gewichtsoptimierung, die maßgeblich über den neuen Anbaubock realisiert wurde.
Beide neuen Maschinen verfügen serienmäßig über eine hydraulische Entlastung, eine Non-Stop-Anfahrsicherung sowie die zigtausendfach bewährte KRONE SmartCut, SafeCut- und DuoGrip-Technologie. Der Anbau der Maschinen erfolgt dicht am Schlepper über dreifach abgestützte Unterlenkerbolzen in Kategorie II und Kategorie III.
Besonderes Highlight beim EasyCut B 870: der Auslegearm kann in zwei Positionen montiert werden. So kann die Maschine wahlweise mit der Arbeitsbreite von 8,31 m oder 8,62 m eingesetzt werden und der Überschnitt individuell angepasst werden. In der schmalen Position liegt der Abstand zwischen den Mäheinheiten unter 2 m; so eignet sich die Maschine mit maximalem Überschnitt ideal für Einsätze am Hang.
Die neue Butterflykombination EasyCut B 1000 besticht durch vorbildlichen Bedienkomfort und die verstellbare Arbeitsbreite zwischen 9,28 m und 10 m, die vom Fahrer komfortabel hydraulisch aus der Kabine angesteuert wird. Das Verschieben der Mäheinheiten ist auch während der Arbeit möglich. So kann der Fahrer je nach Einsatzsituation den jeweils idealen Überschnitt bei maximaler Arbeitsbreite wählen.
Die Bedienung der neuen Mähkombinationen erfolgt über die hydraulischen Steuergeräte des Schleppers; lediglich ein einfachwirkendes und ein doppeltwirkendes Steuergerät werden benötigt.
Ein weiterer praxisgerechter Aspekt: Die Maschinen sind serienmäßig mit Einzelseitenaushub ausgestattet; je nach Bedarf können die Mäheinheiten einzeln ein- und ausgehoben werden, ein großer Vorteil insbesondere beim Einsatz auf keilförmigen Flächen.
